Gordon Marantz High Level Bio I was born in the Philippines, the one and only child.  A direct contrast to my seventeen aunts and uncles and each of their respective clans. Displaced at the tender age of three, my family re-established themselves in Los Angeles, California. Having been the only (lonely) child, I of course suffered the same fate as many others in my position - I became the classic overachiever.  My school years were memorable - half of it spent in private school (Catholic) and the other half spent in public school, in that order.  Even military school once (another story). I did all of the typical things normal kids did at that time:  tree houses, camp outs, skateboarding, boy scouts, sports, etc... Everything changed in high school... I discovered the TRS80 (trash 80) and the Apple II. Well, one thing led to another, and I ended up knee deep in the IT industry. Current Occupation  Director, Studio Operations and Media Services at Warner Bros. Occupational Summary Over 10 years experience in the entertainment industry. Over 10 years experience in the petro-chemical industry. Proven leadership and managerial experience. Established project management experience. Demonstrated systems analysis and business analysis experience. Ability to quickly understand and adapt. Aptitude to quickly apply new technologies and methodologies.
